Several major threats to the health of the Great Lakes and the lives of tens of millions of people who count on them necessitate their conservation. Designed for delicacy upon the site with the goal of shoreline restoration for use by the public and wildlife, the Great Lakes Conservation Center is a new education and research hub, community resource and gathering space, and case study for sustainable architecture along the shoreline of the Great Lakes for generations to come.
