Passive House, 2020
This home will be the primary residence for a retired, married couple with plans to run a bed and breakfast out of the home. Located on the west side of Lake Tahoe and the south side of a mountain overlooking the lake, the site itself is heavily wooded with expansive views of the lake to the east. A small budget lead to creative design solutions so as to not impinge upon overall usable space. This home is Passive House Certified and meets all ASHRAE and PHIUS+2018 Passive Building Standards.
